The Purina® Walk for Dog Guides is a national fundraising walk held in more than 200 communities across Canada. It raises funds to help train Dog Guides for Canadians with visual, hearing, medical or physical disabilities. On Sunday June 11th Logan Lake will become one of the communities partaking in this fundraising venture. With such a great cause and an easy excuse to get exercise with your furry friend it seems like a win win. Everyone is welcome to take part in the walk, dogs are not required, and teams are allowed (so you can always just walk with your friend). There are pledge sheets available for those who really want to get involved in raising money on the website.
Gather your leashes and tighten your sneakers for a day of fun in the sun and some no doubt slobbery kisses. For more information visit www.purinawalkfordogguides.com or Contact the Logan Lake Lions
